As a Principal Highways Lead, you will bring a track record in providing technical competence in the planning and design of urban roads and highways. You are an experienced “seller/doer” that can be responsible for leading pursuits and delivering work for clients. Through your successful track record, you will be confident in being able to leverage existing client and industry relationships to support and contribute to planned growth, revenue, and profit targets. You will ensure the technical quality of complex road/highway projects working collaboratively with team members to ensure positive outcomes. You will mentor and support staff, ensuring the right balance of skills are available within the team, fostering a high level of commitment, open communication, and team cohesion.

About the role

  • Grow and develop the Queensland team bringing on new staff and mentoring young engineers, scientists, and technicians to help them develop their technical and commercial skills

About you

  • A qualified RPEQ / Chartered Civil Engineer with 10 years+ of TMR experience in the planning and design of complex road/highway projects in the Queensland market.
  • Passionate about successful project delivery and the development of high performing teams.
  • Someone who can be actively involved in developing proposals or undertaking tasks, but able to provide direction, support, and mentorship to others.
  • Someone who is committed to seeing the team operate efficiently and consistently deliver quality service on time and on budget.
